Combining Postnatal Yoga for Mums with Sensory Play and Massage for Babies.
Welcome to a life of more love and gentleness towards yourself and others. I am here to listen and empower with Life Coaching. To nurture and balance using energy healing, sound and essential oils. To create more space and calm with Yin and Embodied Yoga. To journey with you back to your true magnificent self.
My Restorative Somatic style of Yin Yoga is a deliciously slow practice involving many poses on the ground surrounded by bolsters, cushion and blocks, in a lying, sitting or kneeling position.
Great attention is placed on being mindful and aware of your breath, while your body is draped in to various supported positions to allow gravity and time to slowly open up tight places of tension, while allowing the bodies connective tissues to release. The fascia and ligaments are targeted often providing great relief and an overwhelming feeling of calm as the parasympathetic nervous system is stimulated and stress hormones reduced.
I like to think of myself as a Panda Bear when practicing Yin Yoga. We spend most of the time lying or seated on the floor draped over bolsters and breathing.
Holding poses longer and infusing more space in to the body and mind with breath and presence is an amazing tonic to our normal state of stress and ongoing busyness.
My classes are for anybody and everybody. We start exactly where you are which is the perfect place to be.
Yoga when you are pregnant can uplift your mood, provide a sense of calm and help to strengthen and balance your body. The postures will encourage baby in to the optimal position for birth while relieving pregnancy discomfort. It is also a beautiful way to bond with your growing baby.
Babies are born craving our touch. Nurturing touch provides so many benefits for baby and is a wonderful way to bond together.

One of my greatest passions is working alongside people to empower them to feel more joy, love and hope in their lives. Using Narrative Therapy and a Strengths Based Approach to Counseling I nurture and inspire my clients to claim and rewrite their life story. To shine a light in to all the cracks and uncover the sparkling gold of possibility - a new way of understanding the past and being in the present. Together we focus upon each person's unique skill set and gifts. My clients always discover a way forward that creates a sense of calm, purpose and excitement for the future.
Bringing yoga off the mat and in to every day life. Using breath and movement this practice creates insight in to ways of being and reacting to our current situations. With awareness comes the gift of choice to do something different. Embodied Yoga Principles (EYP) is a powerful way to explore how our posture and thoughts create our reality. In this session we will work with yoga, breath and talking therapy to change your world!
Humandalas are a fun way to practice yoga in a group or community setting, connecting movement, synchronising breath and exchanging energy. Wonderful for women's circles, team building and ceremonies.
Using the healing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls in conjunction with talking therapy is a wonderful way to reduce stress or other mental and emotional issues. Each session involves the client lying down and being immersed in an hour long sound bath. Aromatherapy using essential oils is also incorporated to invoke a state of deep relaxation and bliss.
This gentle healing art is a wonderful way to rebalance your body on a physical, emotional and energetical level.
The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy. Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things.
Reiki Practitioners understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others. It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.
A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional.
People usually find a reiki session very relaxing.
